DIY "Mom and Pop" Play Store

Long-time reader Julia was inspired by the play stores she's seen on Ohdeedoh and now she's paying it forward and banking some inspiration karma by sharing the terrific store she and her husband made for their 3-year-old daughter.

Julia tells us, "My husband built the shelves and crates, and I made the awning using discount fabric and some curtain rods. Everything fits snugly in a little nook in her bedroom. Needless to say, she loves it!"

What child wouldn't love it. And it makes such good use of this little spot that might otherwise go underutilized. We love that this little shop is flexible enough to become any kind of store - an ice cream parlor, toy shop, whatever their little girl imagines.

Thanks Julia!
