A few weeks ago I got the go-ahead from my landlord to paint our apartment. I know I want a color in the gray family, which is the tallest of tall orders since there is no such thing as "gray." There are a million color variations, and picking the right gray for your space can be difficult. So I've started with six Benjamin Moore color samples and am testing them out in my living room:

No one can ever recommend a pint color without You need a good sized sample to truly evaluate a paint color. I suggest you buy a package of poster board. Paint each piece of poster board rather than the wall. You can move it around the room and see the color in different lights.
I can't wait to hear more. I am in the middle of choosing a gray for my bedroom and have about 10 spots on my wall. It is really hard to choose a gray and you must see it in your own room to really decide. I'm leaning toward Mythic paint Grey Rain right now, based on a House Tour, but it may be too dark for my space. Based on what I see here, Stonington looks really pretty and interesting in your space. Quite a departure from what you have, though!
"Winter's Gate" by Pratt & Lambert. Best. Gray. EVER.
I too wanted the Benjamin Moore Natura paint, so i just brought the P&L swatch to my hardware store and they matched the swatch in Natura, so I got the best of both worlds. So happy with it! Good luck!
classic grey...ben moore. it's just what it says it is...a medium to pale grey with no undertones of either red or yellow. it reads warmer at night and cooler during the day
I have 3 different Benjamin Moore shades of grey in a bathroom, bedrooms, and a hallway and they all look great.
My bedroom is painted Behr "Silver Screen" and I love it. Its very light with a touch of a lilac undertone and it picks up great light. Highly recommend!
