DIY Painting: Testing Benjamin Moore Abalone

Earlier this week I wrote a post on testing Benjamin Moore gray paint samples in my living room. Many of you commented that I really needed to paint a larger sample, which I completely agreed with. So, I painted one wall in Benjamin Moore's Abalone (or rather, almost one wall... you can see I still have some painting to do in the top righthand corner). The lighting in my apartment this week has not been very conducive to photographing, so my "after" photo above is not ideal. But the color is still pretty light. I've only done one coat, and it definitely still skews a bit lavender, but I actually like it quite a bit. It's very subtle (which is what I want), but is it too subtle? Many of you recommended I go with Benjamin Moore's Stonington, as it seemed to be the most "gray" gray. I may paint another wall that color as well. But for now... what are your thoughts on the Abalone?
