I'm absolutely loving this DIY Vintage Food Mill Planter project from Design*Sponge. Not only is the post's photography supremely beautiful (which lightens my spirits this rainy Friday!), but the DIY is simple: no tools are required to transform this vintage food mill into a planter. Read on for the full DIY tutorial.

Materials:

  • 40s/50s-era aluminum food mill
  • Spanish moss
  • peat moss, potting soil, compost
  • a wide-spreading plant

Once you've gathered your materials, click over to Design*Sponge for full instructions on how to assemble your DIY Vintage Food Mill Planter.

Plant away, dear friends!
