Creating together is one of our favorite things to do at home. It keeps my daughter occupied and interested far longer than anything else. Plus, the boosts to her self-esteem and decision-making skills are invaluable. Now that summer is on its way, I'm looking for things that incorporate a bit of nature, how about some weaving?

But not just regular old weaving on a loom, we can do that in January. Instead, head out and find he perfect bunch of branches for this quick weaving project from Linda, who writes the blog Natural Suburbia. You can see the complete tutorial over on her blog, start gathering your sticks and yarn (or ribbon? twine? cord? fabric scraps?) now!
