We all know by now that making making crayons is a fun DIY project. But we think these rainbow crayons Liz made for her little man are the best! We just read over the instructions and as it turns out, it's easy to do.
You'll need a clean tin can for each color you want to include in the crayon as well as empty pill bottles or film canisters as molds. (Tip: Liz got her empty pill bottles by asking her pharmacist). And, of course, you'll need to hunt under the couch and at the bottom of the toy box for old broken crayons.

White Enamel Flatwa...
My mom used to do this for me, using candy molds to make fun shapes!
I make mine with muffin tins - http://dohdums.wordpress.com/2010/09/02/tutorial-kid-friendly-crayons/
You can also make shapes with old crayons by melting them down in small metal candy molds.
