We spotted this DIY over on OnceWed.com. Etsy seller Laurie Cinotto, who also handmakes boutonnierres, has a great tutorial. You’ll have to order the supplies (bailing wire, seam binding, rock candy, and ribbon), but once you have them, it’s pretty easy.

Here are the basics:

1. Cut wire and bend into a Shepard’s hook shape.
2.Stick the wire into the rock candy, secure with glue. (If you plan on eating them, you can use edible sugar glue.)
3. Wrap a ribbon around the seam, and tie into a bow.
4. Use the hook to hang from branches, a garland, or a wire armature.
