Cable management can be an extra headache when cables are much longer than necessary. Instead of buying shorter cables to replace long cables, we prefer to go the DIY route. We have shown you how to shorten ethernet and coax cables before, and in this Flickr Find are instructions for how to make your own short 2.5mm sync cable.
Flickr user Nick Wheeler shows us how to make a short 2.5mm sync cable.
To make this project, you will need light duty twin conductor speaker cable and 2.5mm stereo jack plugs. The tools used were a soldering iron, some solder, a pair of wire strippers and a pair of wire cutters. A multimeter was also used in circuit testing mode.
The complete instructions appear in the comment section below the photo on Flickr.
