Who says silverware has to live in a drawer? Julia gets creative with some vintage finds and fashions a chandelier. Let's break down her tutorial and tools for this project after the jump.
Julia got the idea to make her own silverware chandelier after seeing one in a store. She also mentions that reusing materials instead of buying a new light fixture falls in line with her eco-friendly lifestyle. To start this DIY project, you'll want to pick up vintage silverware at thrift stores or perhaps hit up grandma for some older pieces. Other than that, a bicycle rim, hooks and steel rope are tools that will help you finish this project. Check out Julia's full (and helpful) tutorial here.

I really like this idea. Definitely something I'll consider doing in the future.
I've got such a thing for spoon rings and bracelets. I love this! A great way to display old unique kitchen tools that you don't use often. Also, since they're on hooks, you can still take them down and use them!
