We love simple, inexpensive DIY projects that can be completed in one day and look fabulous. This chandelier is a stunning addition to any outdoor dining space but would also work nicely inside. The best part is that you may already have the main structure of this project set up in your kitchen.

A hanging pot rack! It doesn't get much easier than that. So, gather up a bunch of potted plants, buy some basic hardware and get going. You can view all photos of original project at Erin Ever After.

gorgeous!
so jealous of that patio!! I wish I could find a way to make my tiny apt balcony feel comfortable like that...
Right now we just use fold up camping chairs and it's just bluh.
I LOVE this! What a great idea. Now I just have figure how to make one and where to find the materials...
So simply hanging a potrack outside and placing plants upon it is a DIY project?
This would look beautiful in our kitchen... above the island!
Yes, kristlambert, because you Do It Yourself.
I think it's lovely.
Good thing its succulents. Since they don't need a lot of watering.
Awesome!!! :)
I love this -- I think it looks gorgeous! Nice way of bringing nature (and a patio feel) indoors if you happen to live in an apartment without any outdoor space.
This is fabulous!!! I want to create one for our screened in porch ~~
Thanks!
This looks gorgeous and I love the idea. I have a high ceiling and no hood over my stove now and was going to go the traditional route with a pot rack filled with pots, but I love this idea more...but do would this work over a stove? Would the heat rising from the stove just ruin the plants?
Thanks.
