rounded up some round side table options and it inspired us to show you how we made our own bedside tables. Last year when we were looking for simple mirrored bedside tables, we couldn't find ones that we liked or that were reasonably priced. So instead of using the floor to place our alarm clock and lamps, we decided to make our own table with the style we liked and the price we preferred (inexpensive!) See how easy and affordable this project was after the jump.
1) The tableThe tables that we bought were $14 each from IKEA. Although I don't believe they are available anymore there are tons of other inexpensive options like the Lack or the Heimdal. Both of these would be good options.
2) The mirrorWe found a local glass & mirror shop and just brought the table top over to them. For just $15 per mirror, we were able to get a custom made mirror top.
3) The glueLook for a rubber based adhesive to hold the mirror to the table and you are done! All in all, we spent about $75 for 2 tables and are really happy with the simple style. If mirrors are not your thing, why not try incorporating lace into an acrylic table? Or you can always try an alternative bedside table, turning the unexpected into something functional.
