I've been in the market for some better DIY shelving options, and although these are fairly small, I love the idea of a threaded rope with basic shelving. This project, which can be completed for under $50, seems easy and doable, but what do you think about the shelves' structural soundness, and the method of hanging them on the wall?
On a larger scale, a rope-hung mechanism might now work as well. Any ideas for how to create something similar, but with larger shelves?
