If you're about to start your spring cleaning soon, here's a fun project for all those old sheets that may be buried deep in the back of your closet. Instead of tossing them out or giving them away, upcycle them to use in a different part of your home!
The tutorial claims it to be a 30-minute craft, but realistically you'll need an afternoon to rip, braid, stitch, and turn your raggedy sheets into a shabby chic rug. And the bonus? The older your sheets, the softer the rug will feel under your feet!

Great idea!
This project has the potential to be cute I guess. I feel like doing a coiled basket style rag rug would produce nicer results.
Wow, this is awesome. I'm totally going to make one with my blue left over sheets, and whatever other matching colors I can find at the thrift store. Is there a way to prevent the pins from poking?
Thanks so much for featuring my rag rug! I really appreciate being featured. Do you think you could change the spelling of my name, please? It's "Rebekah Greiman". Thanks!
