Vintage tennis rackets look really great, but aren't very practical to keep around... until now! We love this simple DIY project that will have you upcycling your surplus of vintage tennis rackets into super cute mirrors in no time.
Here's what you have to do:
* Find a vintage tennis racket (ebay, thrift stores, and your parent's basement are all great places to look).
* Take a the racket to a glass shop and ask for a custom-cut beveled-edge mirror that fits inside the rim.
* Squeeze Liquid Nails Mirror Adhesive onto the back of the mirror.
* Firmly press it onto the strings (be sure to protect your work surface with newspaper).
* Let the adhesive dry overnight before hanging your new tennis racket mirror from a nail.

Cool, I probably wont do it with my vintage tennis rackets because I think they're awesome as is hanging on the wall, but this is a fantastic idea.
Can you tell us the cost for the custom beveled mirror? I need to do one and don't have a clue as to how much I ought to be spending.
I didn't think I would like this. But I love this. At first, I thought that maybe it was the wall color that made this work. But then I imagined these rackets in front of charcoal, orange, even aubergine. Love it.
I used my grandmother's vintage racket to hang jewelery with the help of some little wire christmas ornament hooks.
I'm with unabridged...I didn't think I'd like this, but it's actually really cute! nice job...
