I'm often inspired by the interior photo shoots from my favorite clothing shops and boutiques, but rarely do the ideas seem very practical for the home. Now the lovely shop Ruche has thoughtfully posted DIY instructions for some of the beautiful wall treatments from their spring lookbook. They're temporary wall décor projects, perfect for renters.
My favorite is the fabric wallpaper applied with a cornstarch paste that will easily peel off when you're sick of it or ready to move. I've been wanting to try easy fabric wallpaper since Laure posted about it back in January, and this is a new all-natural method to try.
Butcher paper flowers are also lovely, and perfect for a spring party or a child's room. Ruche posts full instructions and helpful diagrams.
This treatment with book pages would be great for a reading nook. Teachers, why not try it in a classroom? So cute!
