Wall hooks are absolutely indispensable when it comes to maintaining order in our house, particularly evident to us during the winter months. Here's a crafty project that might entice kids to hang up their duds, while also creating some functional wall art.
These custom wall hooks were made with thick wire covered with several layers of scrap paper dipped in equal parts Elmer's glue and water, and then painted. Aside from shaping the wire, even little ones could play a role in creating these hook creatures. And given the basic outline of the design it might be fun to look at your kid's own artwork for inspiration.
