Q: I found these two chairs online for $50.00. I haven't bought them yet, but I think they may be mid century Conant Ball Chairs. I tried doing some research and can't find confirmation that this is by Conant Ball, though. Does anyone know the maker? Also, they have this fraternity-style emblem on them in black paint. I'm afraid it will be difficult to remove the paint. Any thoughts? Are they worth the work? I love the style, so I'm thinking I may just go for it. Thanks for the help!

MoreQ: I just got a bentwood rocker frame for free from some coworkers at my studio, but it's been sitting outside for the last year, and where I live, that means it got rained on. A lot. Luckily, I think the chair is still in fairly good shape and the water didn't eat through the wood but just the finish, although some of the curves will need a little putty to fill in empty spots. Now that I have it, I am at a loss for what to do with it!
