Q: My husband and I just moved into our new apartment. Built at the turn of the 19th century, it has a lot of charm and original woodwork. This is the dining room and the front parlor — since they are so open to each other I am at a loss for what to do with the windows. Normally, I love long drapes to soften up a space, but I am not sure if I should have all 6 windows match. I am open to other solutions like loose roman shades, but again — should they all be the same?
