If you need another reason to keep your home clean and do your chores, how about prolonging your life?...
According to an article on MSN via Prevention Magazine, an hour a day of household chores lowers your risk of death by 30 percent. (Check out how many calories are burned with specific chores) Of course any form of excercise can up your longevity but in Los Angeles, when we spend so much time in our cars, every bit of extra movement helps. And, doing a little bit every day means you won't have to spend an entire Saturday doing them. It's a win-win situation.

Just kidding, it's an interesting thought. There is also a lot to be said for being healthier because you live in a clean environment. Less stress from not being surrounded by clutter, fewer bacteria, etc...
