So you've decided to stay at home this year and not travel the world. That's awesome, you'll save a few bucks and the energy you'd be using with all your traveling adventures, but what about money. Are you really saving any? Just look how happy the man above is, that's the face of a man who's made one too many trips to the Home Depot lately!

This year we've decided that the world staycation is the only "cation" we'll be getting. The frustrating part is, we'll be spending more while we're staying home than we would have if we went abroad! Like many families who take a week of just to get stuff done, that laundry list of things usually involves a few big ticket items or diy renovations.

Sometimes it feels like you're damned if you do and damned if you don't doesn't it? Would you rather see the sights of the world around you, or finally cross off all those repair projects you've been meaning to do (for oh, the last 5 years). It can feel like a toss up to want a well put together home and taking in the unknown in person — instead of just Flickr!

What would you rather do? Tell us below!
