The debate over whether to have or not to have a TV in the bedroom is always an interesting invitation of how people envision the bedroom: a place for peace and quiet or a spot in their home for rest with the option of home entertainment. Chime in about how you feel about keeping a TV set in the bedroom, like the stylish and full surround sound setup shown above from one of our past tech tours.

Didn't have one for years -- my partner wouldn't allow it, and I was (eventually) OK with that. When we split up, I continued to do without, and didn't really miss it. A few years ago, an especially harsh winter made my drafty living room impossible for evening TV watching, so I bought a TV for the bedroom. There's intentionally no cable hook-up, so it's used only for watching DVDs, and I'm plenty happy with that -- as is the new girlfriend.
(And for the living room, I finally got a nice pair of lined drapes so we can enjoy the surround sound and big screen on those cold winter nights.)
