This photo from Swedish paint company Alcro reminds us a little of our own hall. We have a line of halfway-organized shoes in our entryway. For a while, we tried to go with a closed shoe cabinet, but the open system has proven more functional for us, even if it's a little messy. Love the walls. <3
I loooooooove the built-in open storage! It's perfect for guys like my boyfriend who immediately want to sit down and tear their shoes off and just fling them somewhere. Functional AND a great aesthetic. Love it!
We have dogs who enjoy destroying shoes (oh, don't get me started on all of shoes that they've destroyed), so closed storage was a must. The latest shoe storage from IKEA - the SKÄR- is really nice in person. Slim lines, nice height, and a little shelf area at the top as a mini landing strip or place to show off knickknacks.
I love the wall, too! Does anyone have any idea how to accomplish this look? Since this is a paint company photo, I'm assuming that it's all painted? So the flowers are made with stencils?
