For many DIY Mom and Dads there's nothing more precious than those 30-60 minutes you get to tackle a project during nap time. There's no whining, no crying, no spilled milk and no questions, just a few minutes to truly get things done. Do you craft and diy when your little ones are sleeping or let them dive right in with you and work by your side? Growing up my parents were never afraid to let us help out with projects and because of it my brother and I both now have many skills other folks our age don't. We do tend to suffer from a serious case of the "know it alls" but don't all great kids?
Do you let your kids help out with projects? Give them their own to take on instead? Do you work alone so there's no questions and little wasted resources? Share your thoughts or personal stories on learning the ropes of DIY when you were younger in the comments below!
