Yeah, your smartphone can do a lot of things. But just because it's able to transform into a GPS navigator or recipe index doesn't mean that it's easy to juggle your iPhone around in the car and kitchen. Until now, you could always buy individual holsters to keep your phone propped up in each room. But instead, we're feeling the Oona stand—a Kickstarter project that moves and displays your phone everywhere from the nightstand to your car windshield.
No need to spend big bucks on a collection of stands that keep your phone propped up in every place. Cut the clutter and invest in one great stand: The Oona.
Created by a team from the tech mecca of Silicon Valley, The Oona is a four-piece smartphone stand (an aircraft-grade aluminum frame, two suction cups and a solid base disc) that can transform like a chameleon to hole your phone securely in nearly every spot in the house. Configure it to hold up anywhere you need an extra hand.
Because it's such a minimal design, Oona will display your phone even if it's in a case or connected to its power cord.
The Oona was started on the fundraising platform Kickstarter, but it's met its $10,000 goal a few (thousand) times over, to the tune of nearly $100,000. So the Oona is definitely going into production (on June 3rd, to be exact).
