This morning Apple TV got a fairly hush-hush update, upgrading the lil' black box of streaming media with a pair of possible cable cutter killer apps for iOS users. Both NBA League Pass and MLB.tv are now available via Apple TV (cue in Roku users' "about time!"), which removes one of the remaining hurdlesfor a cable-less household: broadcast sports. With NFL likely to follow (we're not sure about collegiate events), does the news convince you cable subscribing holdouts, now may be the time to sever ties with traditional media providers? Or is there yet another reason cable still holds sway with you?
