Although we never thought we'd have a blueprint of a dog hanging in our home, these prints have quickly changed our mind. Maybe you're (really) in love with your pooch or miss the one you had growing up — or heck, just think they're really neat, there's a blueprint for you!
Each print comes framed and ready to hang (13"x19" without frame and 18"x24" with frame). Each illustration shows "design specs" and documentation about breed origins and temperament.
They'll set you back $185 and we're willing to bet many of you are already considering it (um, ourselves included!). There's over 30 different breeds to choose from, you're sure to find one that fits your home.

ooooh, want, want, want this!
I'm about as infatuated as they come.. these are neato- but no Wire fox terrier? :(
The good thing about Uncommon Goods is that all items come from artisans, I bet you could email the company and ask for contact information to see if one could be made!
Okay that's just ridiculous! $185?? seriously??
What if your dog is a good old fashioned mutt?
These are neat, though. As someone who's - ahem - turned on by architectural stuff, and someone who likes dogs, this is a great idea.
No Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Booooo :-(
They burned the blue print after my big, beautiful mutt was made.
Chihuahuas!!!
Yeah Boxer!
I was into them until I saw the price. Good lord!
THERE IS NO POODLE? How can this be? The price is, yes, astoundingly high...but to not have a poodle?
there better be a beagle in there somewhere
No border collies either. Though I can't imagine I could justify $185 on this, now we'll just never know...
I knew they wouldn't have a Chinese Crested, but I don't think I mind after the price tag. I wish it was cheaper because it would go perfect with my color pallet.
No whippet. I just saved $185!
nice idea for a DIY... and you can choose colors for your doggie.
I guess the $185 is for that cute little stamp.
aww they do have both my dogs (westie and yorkie) but alas, $185 is a stretch! can't i just get the print without the frame?
Boo, they spelled "Labrador" wrong!
No, Newfoundland? The travesty!
Though I would never pay $180-something dollars for that anyway.
I love these. So cute. I guess I could get one of each breed I think my mutts might be. That could get expensive.
Hilarious!!! (but not that price tag...)
Charming! Overpriced!
Why are there NEVER sight hounds? Not even the Whippet or Greyhound? Seriously?
No Portuguese Water Dogs? Wait, probably too hard for them to sit still for the sketch. Sorry, Harper!
The Boxer is nice, but I was really hoping for a Scottish Terrier. I was also hoping for a less absurd price, because $185 is about twice as much of what I was prepared to pay.
Yay! Boxers are always left out - stupid yorkies and pugs! I adore Uncommon Goods for a number of reasons - beautiful gifts, super fast shipping, residents of my old 'hood in Brooklyn, and just all around good people. If they opened a store front (like I've been hinting) I think I'd die and go to heaven!

Looks like for $50 custom fee they will blueprint your pup.
I have wondered if most dog owners want to own artwork that is specific to their breed or if they are interested in several breeds. What do you think? I need to create an unofficial survey somewhere.
