Check unfinished wood stores as well.. thats where we purchased ours. A little sanding and some paint and it matched my dd room exactly.
target also sells a version of this.. though, i like the idea of buying an unfinished bookcase to stain/paint to your taste.
My stepfather built my daughter a version of the Pottery Barn one for her first birthday. I love it. It's super cute and I think the fact that it was made especially for her makes it so special. =)

Very cute! I especially like the way it's filled, not only with books, but the baskets and the other little chautskees (sp?) make it darling for any little girls room.
