When Condé Nast shuttered Domino back in early 2009, the internet let out a collective "Noooooooooooooooo!" and after a few months, the beloved Domino online archives disappeared. Today they are back! Condé Nast has transferred the ownership of the Domino archives to the newly-redesigned Brides.com and are in the process of republishing the Domino content…
Though Condé Nast might be missing the mark (and loyal guy readers) with the move to Brides.com, I'm certain everyone can be relieved that the content is living somewhere. Will you visit Brides.com for Domino content?
You can see the Domino content starting to appear at Brides.com | Home Decor.

White Enamel Four-P...
I have no idea what a wedding related website has in common with a decor mag, but I'll travel anywhere for Domino, including brides.com. (Heck, I'll knock over a bride if I have to.)
Rejoice! Rejoice! I say Rejoice!!....I will surely add that to my fave list. I miss Domino!!!!! But why Brides.com?
yes!!
Sigh..yes, I will just to view the content. Condé Nast is way off though. In replacement of my canceled Domino subscription they send me Glamour. Glamour, people.
Brides are the ones getting all the swag from their registries after all...
ALSO: this story has been the highlight of our day over here!
I saved every copy of Domino and still refer to them, but now that Lonny.com has launched,I feel like the magazine has gotten a second life.
Glad that Conde Nast is bringing back the archives but why not just bring back a great shelter magazine like Domino. Clearly there's a void especially with Blueprint and the beloved Met Life both folding
Better act fast or Lonny.com will hit the news stands and just plain Lonny and grab up all that ad revenue.
can you see me dancing, swirling about the office with my arms out like Julie Andrews?! well i am!
I actually think it's a pretty natural fit. Wedding first home = need for decor. I am so glad to know about this!
Ok I'll go but I sure hope I won't have to explain to my boyfriend why I spent hours browsing brides.com
April Winchell AND Domino? Holy crapstick, I've died!!!
I was so upset when Domino folded. My 3-year paid subscription is now being filled by Lucky... blah. I really just want Domino back! And Allegra M, I share your sentiment. Ha!
Rebecca -- you're lucky.... they first filled my remaining subscription with "Cookie". Now that was rather insulting as I don't have nor do I plan to ever have children. I think I could have handled a couple of issues of "Glamour". I might have even been OK with "Brides"... but "Cookie"?
I will be happy to look up content on the Brides.com website. If they publish anything in print, please let it be another book!
Great! Except now my boyfriend has to catch me on Brides.com?!
To Rebecca -- LOL, I was bemused to find myself receiving "Glamour" as well. Despite the fact that I told them I'd rather just have my money back. I'm also getting "Lucky" even thought I've never subscribed. I might have actually preferred "Brides!"
I was complaining to my bf about getting to years of Glamour as a replacement and he looked up the number in the mag and called then... takes about two minutes you can change to any magazine they publish.
Now I get Vogue... not a replacement for my loved Domino, but at least I don't get "how to please your man" tips every month in the mail :)
Every few months I would clean out my Domino mags and throw them out and just keep 5 months on hand....I kick myself EVERY SINGLE DAY for doing that. I miss that damn mag soooo much. I get Dwell and Elle Decor and although I do like those mags, they have nothing on Domino...it was just fresh and I waited every month for that delivery...
I am very happy that I can access Domino's archive, but my husband was curious as to why I was on the Bride.com site this morning......
elle1009, I know exactly what you mean. I subscribed from day 1 and if I'd known it would fold in a mere 2 years (or was it 3?), I would've kept all of them, esp. the first 5.
