We are really big fans of Donald Judd's furniture. We've posted his daybed here at AT before. Yet we missed one on a quiz of Donald Judd, or Cheap Furniture? by Graydon Parrish and Mikhail Simkin...

That's still a score of 91%, but one of these pieces really suprised us. To take the quiz yourself, go to Reverent.org. Via: CribCandy.

so why all the fuss over this donald judd if his stuff is almost indistiguishable from cheap furniture? seems like a waste of money.
Oh was it that black table that got you? That's the one that fooled me.
Easy.
thats cool, i got a 92%, although most of it was just lucky guessing.
Pretty easy, since any piece with remotely any embellishment is not going to be Judd. Though, it'd be easy enough to cheat just by looking at the photos since some of pieces are in situ, while the rest are all studio-seamless/photoshopped floating.
Wow! I got a 100%. Pretty impressive, considering that I've never heard of Donald Judd before, huh?
I Also got 100%
Way to link to a neo-con website, AT.
92% Guessed wrong on the tall day bed. It's hideous! Anything in knotty pine is terrible, and I don't care for the proportions - it looks like Ikea on steroids. Egh.
I got 92% because I stupidly clicked the wrong thing for the leaning shelf. It was an interesting exercise because now I know what proportions Judd favoured.
That is funny. I have always had that question myself. I guess I "get" Donald Judd, but then again, maybe I don't.
I got a 100%. It was funny because I was like "...isn't that from Walmart...?"
Well it's not like Donald Judd was some expensive furniture designer. It's a little bizarre to compare his work in this way. What's next, comparing Carl André to the flooring section at Home Despot?

HA HA HA snap!
charlenemcbride, you're dead-on with your comment. Every time Judd's work is mentioned on AT, I wonder why the fact that he was an artist working toward a specific aesthetic ideal is totally lost in the context of the post.
