I don't like clutter. I like having a place for all of the things that I own. Little stacks of paper make me apoplectic. And please don't get me started on coins just lying around. But for some reason, having these same items neatly placed in a basket, don't bother me in the least-- in fact, they make me quite happy. Of course, you can place your belongings in nearly anything with capacity, but why not place them in something beautiful. Here are five beautiful (and quite simple) options...
Vintage Industrial Basket at Modern 50
Cecile Manz Wicker Bread Basket
Coop Bowl at CB2
Vintage Wire Basket at Collected Fat
Basket Bowl by Perch

Nomade Express Slee...
The basket bowl is beautiful.
love the first one..but would rather deal with the mess than fork over $175.
Charest Studios makes the best baskets... modern and whimsical. http://www.etsy.com/listing/65939031/onion-wall-basket
My boyfriend would kill me if I brought any more baskets into our tiny flat. He just doesn't understand the importance of the RIGHT basket at the right time :)
This reminds me of one of my favorite Dorothy Parker quotes, "Don't put all your eggs in one bastard."
175, aw man....yeah I can't see that happening
The ones at bongrande are just as nice and well priced: http://bongrande.blogspot.com/2011/01/vintage-milk-crates.html
