I was floored by the amount of beautiful entryways I came across, most of which I had taken for granted for years, as scenery in my daily walk to work. I had a lot of trouble choosing my favorites, as each gorgeous doorway holds a history unto itself, especially those in the historic neighborhood of Beacon Hill, established in the late 1700s. Take a gander at ten of my favorites, and have fun imagining the stories that live (and have lived) behind the doors.

I think you found the only 3 wide doorways in all of Boston. Must have been so much easier for those lucky ducks to move their couches and beds in...!
ha! but that doesn't account for the stairwell :)
