Doors by Modernus

Is a door, just a door? Often times, they are the part of a room which is most overlooked but they can give so much to the feel of a room. We've found these contemporary doors, by Modernus, which add graceful elements to both inside and outside the home.

Modernus doors are crafted in Italy, constructed with wood, glass, aluminum with lacquer and glass finishes and are completely custom-made. Although prices are not listed anywhere on the site (you can get a quote online), Modernus offers factory direct prices.

Every door style can be made to your specification and either be a sliding, swing, pocket or pivot door.

These are really very nice doors indeed. They make me wish that you could/would recommend some more very nice doors, but maybe not quite as nice as these, so they'd be within the range of a middle-class American budget. Cheers, JoanneM

they ship to north america & have a 800 number.

Or from a company that makes doors in the United States, so that we don't have to ship everything halfway around the world. That might bring cost down a little bit, too.

Cheaper and less energy demanding to ship from Europe to East Coast than to truck from California to East Coast... just saying.
