I would have loved if this was my dorm! It was so drab, and all the colors would have made me much happier in my space. I did have a gnome, however; I bought a concrete gnome and painted it myself. It's been with me for many moves.
What fun!
Those ikea chairs don't last very long, although I'm a 6'2'' male that weighs 190 pounds so that may have led to mine's demise.

Cute ideas but you can FORGET IT with a 19 year old girl. The last thing she wants is for people to think she is a child - at least MY daughter is that way!
