In the 40's and 50's, the Hayes Code prevented movies and tv shows from showing a couple sharing a single bed. Interestingly enough, we've lately been hearing a lot about couples who prefer not to share a bed for one reason or another (one person snores, flops around, has odd sleeping patterns or is often sick). If you like to have options, this bed might be for you.
Designed by Swedish designer Marcia Hanvey Isaksson, the two beds, attached at the top with a rail in the headboard, easily slide apart. The headboard also features storage space, a good place to store the two different sets of linens you'll need.
