Case Study Day Bed
When we shop, we look for things that will last. A lot of the time that means products that we'll be able to reuse somewhere else if we redo a room or switch things around. The Case Study Daybed is a piece that we love. During the day it's a couch, and at night the cushions come off and it becomes a bed. Works for a living room or a guest room.

We've highlighted some of these products before on Apartment Therapy, since we love hard-working furniture. Let us know if you have your own recommendations for double duty products.

The Cora Carafe ($9.95 at CB2) can be a drinking glass, vase, or centerpiece with floating candles. The Prince Aha Stool ($87 at DWR) works as a side table or stool and opens up for storage. The Bako Wire Wastebasket ($9.99 at The Container Store) is a trash can or magazine rack.

The Versatile Bench in Ivory ($159 at Tiny Living) holds throw pillows in the legs or becomes a shelf when stacked. Tub Trugs ($12 - $14 in the AT Store) work as laundry baskets, ice buckets, or gardening totes. A bamboo bath mat ($19.99 at CB2) works in the bathroom or at an entryway. Related Links:
