Renwick Street is a tiny street in the Manhattan by the Holland Tunnel. Recently coined Hudson Square — it's really western SoHo and technically not TriBeCa. The neighborhood's large industrial buildings made it the perfect place in 1996 for architecture firm Fernlund + Logan to turn two floors of a former factory into a stunning modern living space...
The two-story window is glorious and we love that the architects from Fernlund + Logan kept the original concrete factory floor. Via: Loftlife.

LOVE IT. Lovelovelove it.
Wow - As grand as the rest of the overall space is, the kitchen seems rather cold and barren.
Would it have hurt to install a Heath Tile backsplash and some Halo pendant light fixtures?
Quick inhale of awe. The bookcases.....
Not comfy enough for me to want to live there, but striking! It'd be a great library.
way too cold & barren for my tastes... that being said can anybody tell me where to get the 2 wooden side chairs in the living room - LOVE Them ...
I love those windows!!! I love the design elements of the space but would definitely add color. Even for my minimalist heart, it feels more barren than clean and tidy.
this space is very open and bare. its more of a gallery type living. it would've been better if there were area rugs to separate each room from the whole instead of just grouping furnitures for one space. i really like the big window/s.
The chairs are Ikea Arkals. They are $69 a piece.
Sorry. Couldn't resist. They're actually Wegner easy chairs available at Room & Board for $3,060 each.
Beautiful space and light but agree, the barren kitchen looks unfinished.
That's what a loft should be.
Just can't imagine all those windows looking in at me all the time. Shivers....
pictures with the windows are stunning. those without windows are kinda blah. i don't know if it's the photography or the space.
Gawd I want this so bad...
A great use of modern mixed with industrial. The design keeps it on a human scale.
Lucky bastards!
Not one thing needs to change. Nothing needs to be added.
This is absolutely perfect.
I usually like loft spaces, but this one leaves me cold. It is too barren and looks more like the factory or warehouse it probably used to be than a home.
I absolutely love the floor to ceiling windows. By any chance does anyone know what the name of the coffee table or which manufacture sell it? I like the overall look of the table, sofa, and side chairs.
