You know we love our Bekvam step stool from IKEA and its many uses. But after a few arguments at the sink we're wishing it was wider so both kiddos could hop on for simultaneous handwashing.
While looking for patio furniture just now, we spotted this Doublewide Step Stool by Loll. It's perfect for our needs - a simple and sturdy step stool wide enough to accomodate two young ones. As with all Loll furniture, it can be used both inside and outside. The alternative would be to purchase another Bekvam so two could play at the sink together.
So what do you think Ohdeedohers, take the plunge on the Doublewide ($177) or buy another Bekvam (about $20)?

I'm sure you'll get plenty of use out of a (high quality) step after the little ones don't need it. I still use the one I got for my oldest 12 years ago.
Loll is an excellent and GREEN small company from northern Minnesota. I'd much rather give my money to them for a well made environmentally friendly item. I love Ikea too but this is a nice way to add style to your home and feel good about where your money is going.
There may be an Ikea closer to your place than Duluth is but you'd still be buying green and local if you went with Loll; and it's great design.
