A professional educator and security consultant, Doug Jackson loves making electronic gadgets. He also really loves teaching others how to make electronic gadgets. Which is how a simple gift designed for his English teaching wife resulted in a surprisingly successful enterprise in clock making and education. Word clocks tell time using (you guessed it!) - words. And they may be just the coolest clocks I've ever seen...
Inspired by the extremely expensive QLOCKTWO, Doug created a design that could be customized and shared with others. Knowing the satisfaction that comes from making something yourself, he wanted to empower others to try making clocks of their own. That's why Doug offers three different options for obtaining your own text-stacular timepiece - complete clocks, kits and components. You decide how much you want to tackle for yourself, and Doug will provide whatever pieces or instruction you need to make your personal vision a reality.

This actually reminds me of a cool Frank Gehry watch I bought from Fossil back in the day that used Gehrt's handwriting to indicate the time at 30 minutes, as in "Half past 1" This is a must have for me!!!
