Actually my husband could use these clothing-shaped stickers as much as my son as a visual cue for where things go. A great idea for helping kids become more independent at home.

I like the practicality of this idea, but I would never willingly put stickers on furniture.
I don't like the idea of permenant stickers that would make it hard to remove
when done with. But I've used removable labels like ones from Avery. They are perfect. You can print whatever you want on them, stick them on anything and then remove without any trace or residue. However, I've also read using a hair dryer to put a little heat on the permanent type stickers can help remove it easier. There's also glue-gone but can ruin the finish on some furniture or wood finishes.
As an Interior Designer who has painstakingly scraped off stickers of all kinds from children's furniture & walls, I would not encourage the action of applying them to any surface other than a bulletin board or a fridge door. Children need to learn where their underwear & pjs are.
A note from the maker: These aren't paper stickers. They're vinyl. When I pulled the prototype set off of a dresser recently after a full year of adherence, they came off in one piece without leaving any residue. They stretch when they come off, so they can't be re-used, but no damage, no residue. Every piece of furniture is different, so it means weighing your priorities. I wholeheartedly agree that children need to learn where their underwear and pjs are. For us, the stickers have made that a little easier.
