I've recently been taking a trip back through old episodes of Sex and the City, one of which includes a trip to the grotto at the Playboy mansion (which, admittedly, does not end well). But if it's the aesthetic (mysterious underground hot tub) that you're digging, look no further than these nine bathrooms with a certain cavelike ambience. Each one has a little something to offer, and each one is a little tiny retreat all unto itself.

Above: I'm certain that my bathroom would be at least 150% better if there were a little bit of a mountain in it (like this one from Yatzer).

It might just be in an ordinary house, but the concrete tub gives this bathroom from Decoholic a cavelike feel.

I imagine that everything's better after a little soak in this Greek bathroom, spotted on My Scandinavian Home.

Who needs to go to a water park? Just taking a bath (or just turning on the water in the bath, really) would be an experience in this home from Inspiration Green.

And finally, a lovely bathroom in a Spanish home from The Style Files.
