We attended the press preview of the new Dream Home at the Merchandise Mart this morning. It's always great to meet the designers and hear about their process in putting together the project. As always, the Dream Home is all about luxury finishes and furnishings, but this year, it was also quite colorful- with lots of dramatic hues to offset the darker woods and metallics that are still in vogue. We went through our photos to grab some examples of the intense colors used in the rooms:

Dream Home opens on September 25. Hours are M-F from 10-5 and Saturdays from 10-3. The suggested donation ($5) benefits the University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation.
