Seattle has had a tough start to the summer season, and the last few weeks have been chilly and dark. The lack of sun has definitely made Seattleites long for warm weather, barbecues and pool parties.
Since the weather has been gray, it got me thinking about creating our own summertime fun — indoors. With that in mind, I began mixing up some lemonade cocktails and went hunting for photos of luxurious, dreamy, indoor pools. These are a few of my favorites:
1. Indoor pool (with swing!) in Evelyn McMurray Van-Zeller's Manhattan apartment via My Modern Met.
2. Homey, brick, indoor pool from Houseplansandmore.com.
3. Decadent, indoor pool with ocean predators lurking, from Idesignarch.com via Falcon Pools.
4. Penthouse infinity pool overlooking the Public Gardens in Boston, via Zillow.com. This one is not quite an indoor pool, but was so gorgeous, I couldn't pass it up.

Shaw's Original Fir...
i <3 the first one. I keep picturing a party with the pool and bar.
I love the swing over the pool..*le sigh*
I also love the third one but those shark mosaics (as beautiful as they are) would freak me out every time! Makes me think of Alligator(1980) when the kid jumps into the pool...CHOMP!
You forgot my favorite, the Roman Pool at Hearst Castle.

We've been in love for over 20 years!
Those shark mosaics are hilarious, and the penthouse pool is amazing
