Bet you didn't know that Toyota had a pre-fab green home division, did you? Turns out that the Japanese company, who've thrown a monkey wrench into Detroit's hold on the American car market, has their eye on the housing market as well. And with their green and tech friendly saavy, this is a wagon we'd like to jump on...

The aim, underscored by the prospective launch of gas-hybrid plug-in electric vehicles, is a home that would interface with your car. It could even be coded to use the same key. The car would charge up during off-peak hours while it's battery would serve as the home's external power source if needed (a good idea considering LA's annual rolling blackouts).
