We love a little backlight, and spotted these backlit images on fabric in Chicago Home's winter '06 Buzz section. The idea brings to mind lightboxes or even digital wall art, both of which are interesting additions to walls full of flat images lit from an overhead source. Duffy London's Glo Canvases "range from 27 inches square to 52 inches square, prices from $500 to $1,500 for custom pieces." Here's the deal: "Choose from a selection of prefab digital images—flowers, butterflies, chandeliers—printed on flame-retardant fabric panels that are backlit with low-wattage halogen bulbs. Or, if you wish, send in a digital pic of your dog; the company does custom prints. You can also get double-sided panels that can be suspended from the ceiling and used as room dividers."
