As we wrote the previous post, we realized that our inspiration for bulding our own hot tub had originally come from two sources. One, a friend who is a Danish engineer, actually dug a pit one night on the beach and pumped water out of the ocean through a fire and into the plastic lined "tub" using his car battery to power the small pump.
The second is this remarkable invention, The Dutchtub, by the
Danish Dutch designer, Floris Schoonderbeek ( Go Denmark. Go Denmark.). Manufactured and widely used in the Netherlands, the Dutchtub is a super easy way to give yourself a hot tub year round in almost any location (for 4500 Euro). Contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
