This is not an ad. It just looks like one (how do you stop the damn picture from changing?). We don't have a television, but when visiting friends who do, it is clear that skipping commercials and watching only what you want to watch makes the experience much more bearable. We have also been reading that Time Warner's DVR service is pretty good and, at $9 a month, a deal.
Amy Langfield says:
Never having used Tivo, I can say the DVR is pretty cool. The main benefit is that we can watch "The Daily Show" over breakfast instead of CNN, which seems to be dumbing down more toward the Chatty Cathy format every day. (Amy's Note Book)
And MUG says:
We fear for TiVo. (MUG)
