Lighting - one of the key elements (and arguably the most important) to making a room look and feel great. Have you ever thought about trying your hand at designing your own light fixture? The parts are often inexpensive and the results can be amazing - now Chicago's own Tree Studios is holding a contest to show off and reward (with some very cool designer lamps) the best DIY light projects....
Design Within Reach's Tree Studio gears up to host it's first annual lighting competition, Get Lit. It's open to all, designers and design enthusiasts. Select designs will be showcased on June 10 at a NeoCon After Party and Apartment Therapy Chicago's Design Meetup at DWR Tree Studio - come enjoy an evening with Pablo Pardo who will be joining us that eventing and see the finalists.
