My love for the iconic designs of the past has never left, but with Mad Men returning soon I can't help but get a little excited about the style and mood of my particular favorite past era. I round up some sophisticated gear with a vintage veneer. Feast your eyes and ears on these tech items with a retro look...

Ugh, those Crosley turntables are the absolute worst- the best example of "form (and price) over function." They look snazzy and old-school but the audio components don't share that legacy. They aren't even "bottom of the barrel"- they're "below the barrel!" The tonearms and heads/cartridges aren't removable or adjustable and they will actually and seriously RUIN YOUR LPs.
If you want a good vintage table that won't shred your vinyl over time, scour your local craigslist postings for a used one. Your records would be better off if you tried to play them by hand with a steak knife than if you stuck them in a Crosley.
Thank you, Pullo! Those turntables do look snazzy, but your comment (and others I've seen along those lines) compels me to keep searching. Appreciated.
I absolutely NEED the iVictrola, it's just beautiful! Does anyone own one of these and love it? I clicked on the link but there is nowhere to purchase.
