I have yet to see the Oscar nominated film, Exit Through the Gift Shop. Since the mysterious graffiti artist Banksy has been receiving national attention, graffiti art has once again become a hot topic. A few days ago I picked up the book, Graffiti Gone Global Powered by SUSHISAMBA.
SUSHISAMBA is a popular restaurant, which embraces street art. SUSHISAMBA now owns the collection of classic Molded Plywood Eames chairs, which were aesthetically redesigned by 20 prominent street artists and featured as an installation in a Barneys New York window display.
The Graffiti Gone Global book contains images of the "Eames Inspiration Collection" and other street art from all over the world. One page has the work of an artist in Melbourne, Australia, and the next an oversized man on the back of a building in Lille, France. The book is a "must purchase" for street art enthusiasts. It can be purchased from SUSHISAMBA for $25.

Banksy love!
As an artist, I can really appreciate the talent in graffiti but when I'm standing in the sun painting over the front of the office which has been tagged, all I can think is this cost time and money and I wish I could have caught that little ^*$#%@&!
