Maybe we'll get used to them. But seeing the classic Eames Molded Plywood Chairs in red, green, orange, purple, black, light blue, white, and yellow seems...strange. The new colors were produced to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of Charles Eames' birth.

Eames never shied from color. I think they would both get a big kick out of it. It did not have to fiberglass to have color for them.
I've always been a fan of the red LCW at DWR and similar suppliers. More color is good.
Why are the chairs in the link $399 and the ones at DWR are over $600? Does DWR add a huge markup?
The $399 price is for the LCM (Metal Legs) not the LCW (Wood legs). LCM is also $399 at DWR. I think Herman Miller heeps their pricing standard and only allows a few sales per year.
Love the blue and green. Own two in red and three in black (yeah, I went overboard but the price was too good to let pass) and love the colors.
One of each color around a very simple glass table. Maybe the DCW if it comes in the same colors.
